I have been really cranking out pieces for some upcoming shows. I have been absent for awhile with the holidays and now my winter stock up period. Getting ready for craft show season is very busy for me. Luckily its very cold in upstate NY (-11 degrees today) so I don't want to spend any time on anything else, except creating!! Yeah!

The top picture I took at a friends house, where I did a little jewelry party for her and her small group of freinds. She has a very small house, so we had to jam some stuff together, but it still worked out.

I love doing chain maille, I made a custom piece for a coworker, so I posted a pic. I also made Christmas ornaments for a ornament exchange this year, I made some stamped metal pendants and some cute little other fun things.

I will have my craft show listing up soon, I just have to wait for my acceptance letters first. Thank you all for your support :)

Beyond Scrabble Tiles....

My last post was about making these cute little scrabble tile pendants that I have seen at a few craft shows. I love making them, but got bored with the limitations of that small square shape. So, I have expanded. I went to AC Moore and got some larger wood shapes to play with. Here are some examples. These will become magnets or lapel pins, whatever my heart desires!! Comments please!!

Scrabble Tile Pendants are awesome!

Meet my little Gecko! Isn't he just the cutest thing? Last weekend I taught myself to play!! I learned to make Scrabble tile pendants. These little gems are one the most fun, inexpensive way of creating something unique and affordable at the same time. I just went crazy doing this, and found myself having so much fun cutting out these 1 x 1 pieces fo paper to create a small piece of artwork. I have tons in three different stages right now, and I plan on selling them at my next show. How much fun have you had lately, just playing around with small, wood letter tiles, paper, glue and glaze. Wow, I love these. :) Live~Laugh~Love~BEAD!

I learned something new this weekend!! :)

On of the most talented jewelry artists that I know has taken me under her wing to show me some great new techniques.

We had a Metal Stamping "play date" on Sunday and boy did I just have blast!! The pic show some of the samples I made, and the different metals we tried. I love sterling silver, but I thought it would be way too expensive to practice on :)

So, if anyone has learned a new technique they have never tried before, let us know what you are working on!!
